It might turn out that your breakeven point is 1,000 tests, yet your market examination demonstrates interest for just 700 tests. For this situation, you might need to examine development patterns to decide when or whether your MRI program could earn back the original investment later on. You may likewise need to take a gander at rebuilding your proposed program to make it monetarily doable. Quantifiable profit (ROI). return on initial capital investment is one of the most well-known proportions of gainfulness and can show in the case of burning through cash on a MRI program is a decent utilization of your hospitalââ¬â¢s assets. It is determined by isolating total compensation by the expense of the speculation. The speculation number incorporates not just the expense of the hardware under each financing alternative, yet additionally the expenses of running the program (counting the expenses of staffing, promoting, any required development, and organization). Given the quantity of factors adding to the ROI computation, changing the structure of your proposed MRI program can expand your arrival on your MRI speculation. Inner pace of return (IRR) and net present worth (NPV). IRR and NPV are normally used to investigate whether a capital consumption, (for example, the acquisition of MRI gear) will yield the income needed later on; they can likewise be utilized to pick among different venture recommendations, (for example, various kinds of MRI hardware or distinctive financing alternatives). IRR (characterized as the pace of enthusiasm at which the gradual NPV of a proposition is zero) is another approach to take a gander at the estimation of a capital consumption â⬠by taking a gander at the pace of profit for the venture. In the event that a figuring shows that th e IRR is over the expense of capital, the proposed venture ought to be beneficial. These two computations help decide if the speculation is financially practical for the medical clinic. Once more, the data required for these investigations can be acquired from hardware merchants, business databases, and outside providers. Financing Options Hospitals can utilize various strategies or imaginative half and halves from these techniques to obtain both fixed and portable MRI. Choosing how you will pay for your MRI framework requires accomplishing the correct harmony between utilizing accessible money and getting to obligation. Utilizing accessible money may bode well if there are hardly any other capital tasks not too far off and income from activities is solid. Individualism Vs. Individualism Theory - 1489 Words
Individualism According to Milton Friedman, individualism highlights a personsââ¬â¢ obligation to maximize profit for the owners and stockholders of a company. Any actions the business demonstrates must obey the constraints of the law, ââ¬Å"[restricting] what a business is ethically allowed to do to profitâ⬠(Salazar 18). If the behavior of a company does not maximize profit, then the actions are deemed unethical by individualism theory. For an internet database company, any form of a breach can be detrimental. The result of such a disaster can permanently scar the trust from consumers, and tarnish the company name. Postponing the release of information about a breach was an action that an individualist would see as ethical. By not promptlyâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦By doing so, the happiness of all beings that could be affected by an action are taken into consideration. A utilitarian would view Yahooââ¬â¢s case an unethical because of the companyââ¬â¢s lack of co nsideration for all stakeholders impacted. Rather than being headstrong over maintaining a steady profit, Yahoo should have been more concerned with the future safety of personal accounts and their information. Instead of revamping security to protect consumers, especially those who fell victim to such a breach, Yahoo continued to mislead users by not releasing any information. Yahooââ¬â¢s approach to dealing with the problem was a tactic that was only beneficial to one party; stockholders and owners. Utilitarianism is a theory that is ââ¬Å"concerned about the long term costs and benefit of actionsâ⬠(Salazar 20). If a businessââ¬â¢s response to a problem is only short term beneficial, it typically only focuses on one or two parties involved. That is exactly what Yahoo exhibited throughout their handling of the breach. They were only concerned with keeping their stockholders happy, and not the safety and happiness of their consumers as well. If Yahooââ¬â¢s management wasnââ¬â¢t so short-sighted on how they were going to handle the problem, they may have been more focused on their consumers. By not demonstrating any behavior that seeks to maximize happiness for all beings, a utilitarian would find this case unethical. Project Management A Powerful Tool For Software Projects
lab 04 Md Atiqur Rahman Earned Value Project Management A Powerful Tool for Software Projects Earned value is a tool that helps project manager to assess the amount of budget to complete the project. It helps to identify the final required fund to get the project done. It allows to measure and finalized the budget that will take place while project will be running from 1% to 100% lifecycle. It can provide signals and warnings to project manager. If these early warning signals convey unacceptable readings to the project manager, steps can be immediately taken to avoid the undesired results. US Government has established this earned value techniques many years ago. Formalized version began in 1967 when the Department of Defense (DoD)â⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Most important, the industrial engineers defined a cost variance as the differ- ence between the actual costs spent and the earned standards in the factory. This definition of a cost variance is perhaps the litmus test to determine whether one uses the earned-value concept. Then in 1962-1965 they established PERT/cost. The Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) was introduced by the U.S. Navy in 1957 to support the development of its Polaris missile pro- gram. PERT attempted to simulate the necessary work to develop the Polaris missile by creating a logic network of dependent sequential events. The initial focus of PERT was on the management of time and on predicting the probability of program success. But before PERT was accepted by program management in industry, the U.S. Air Force came up with an extension of PERT by adding resource estimates to the logic networks. PERT/Cost was thus born in 1962, and the initial PERT was thereaf- ter known as PERT/Time. For various reasons, the DoD gave up on the PERT/Cost technique in the mid-1960s but correctly held on to the earned-value concept. After that C/SCSC 1967 to 1996s started the issuance of the C/SCSC by the DoD, the conceptââ¬â¢s application has been limited only to contracts in which the government has retained the risks of cost growth, i.e., on cost- or incentive-type contracts and subcontracts. Four Factors of Leadership free essay sample
There are four major factors in leadership (U. S. Army, 1983) Leader You must have an honest understanding of who you are, what you know, and what you can do. Also, note that it is the followers, not the leader or someone else who determines if the leader is successful. If they do not trust or lack confidence in their leader, then they will be uninspired. To be successful you have to convince your followers, not yourself or your superiors, that you are worthy of being followed. Followers Different people require different styles of leadership. For example, a new hire requires more supervision than an experienced employee. A person who lacks motivation requires a different approach than one with a high degree of motivation. You must know your people! The fundamental starting point is having a good understanding of human nature, such as needs, emotions, and motivation. You must come to know your employees be, know, and do attributes. We will write a custom essay sample on Four Factors of Leadership or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page Communication You lead through two-way communication. Much of it is nonverbal. For instance, when you set the example, that communicates to your people that you would not ask them to perform anything that you would not be willing to do. What and how you communicate either builds or harms the relationship between you and your employees. Situation All situations are different. What you do in one situation will not always work in another. You must use your judgment to decide the best course of action and the leadership style needed for each situation. For example, you may need to confront an employee for inappropriate behavior, but if the confrontation is too late or too early, too harsh or too weak, then the results may prove ineffective. Also note that the situation normally has a greater effect on a leaders action than his or her traits. This is because while traits may have an impressive stability over a period of time, they have little consistency across situations (Mischel, 1968). This is why a number of leadership scholars think the Process Theory of Leadership is a more accurate than the Trait Theory of Leadership. Various forces will affect these four factors. Examples of forces are your relationship with your seniors, the skill of your followers, the informal leaders within your organization, and how your organization is organized.
